Cheese and wine evening

Join MRS Scotland to add some sunshine to a winter evening with our Californian wine tasting event.

Wine Tutor, Al, will guide you through a carefully selected range of five different Californian wines. He will put the wines in their context and will invite feedback on each wine. A friendly quiz may accompany some or all of the wines, and there will be matched canapés and cheeses to taste. Al always says, "expand your palate" - why would you go to a wine tasting to try wines that taste the same as what you might buy for a Thursday night in front of the TV? So expect some great wines - with attitude!

Calistoga has been promoting California wines since opening in 2004 with the ambition of bringing the best of Californian inspired food and wine to Edinburgh. They are now a direct importer of USA wines - many are Europe or UK exclusive, so you won’t taste them anywhere else.
